ahhhh… I haven’t finished one of my paintings yet Q.Q and I need to frame them… and write and artist statement… and write a description on my work Q.Q
Done with part 1 of “What If” and onto drawing number 2. orz … 3 weeks to finish… yay. Let’s see if I remember how to paint glass correctly haha. WIPs to come eventually.
Slowly but surely =3= I am almost done with the water and first layer of paint for everything but the boy =3= buh. so much left to do if I want to enter this in the company art show next month… jzdhnfkujsdnmx. hopefully I can get this and another painting done in the next month or so…
New WIP. The firm I am interning for is having an art gallery to shift gears to look at the artistic side of the firm. So, “What If” a (hopefully) 2 piece series that I hope to finish by mid july to submit. It has been quiet some time since I have spent more than a couple hours on a piece so we shall see how this goes. Usually I get impatient and start painting before I actually finish to my satisfaction… and to think I told my art teacher that I hated painting and he said I would have to watercolor in architecture. You are a smart man Mr. M. Here’s to “What if”.
Adventures in Atlanta. It has been much too long since I painted. I am so rusty… I almost gave away the second one of the lady to a little girl, but her mother felt bad so she just took pictures so her daughter could paint something for her grandmother. Now I feel bad because I have 2 postcards… Anyways, 2 paintings from the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. If you are down in atlanta, the exhibit is pretty nifty. Check out http://little-adventurer.tumblr.com/ if you want to see more pictures. <self endorsement… sorry.
A birthday card before I move out to GA for the summer. GA for the summer and Europe in the fall. check out http://little-adventurer.tumblr.com/ if you want to see past and possibly future travel photos.
Happy early birthday Ba Noi <3
I bought some new brushes last week but didn’t get to use them until today. Finally done with the semester (ﾉ´ヮ´)ﾉ It’s been a while since I’ve watercolored, but I am fairly happy with this, except I inked her eyes to big… oh well.
Final Critique done and over~ Sorry for disappearing for months, this was a large project and consumed my life. This was a project comprised of an institute, and 2 different types of housing and 2 different landscape instances all on a site that had a… 30 ft grade change 90’, but really there was just a drop off on the south side. So many things left unresolved, but at least that leads to good conversations. If you have any suggestions I am open~
What happens when you are sleep deprived? You make really terrible judgement calls… mine would be a giant chess board in the middle of my plaza. and trees that are the wrong size.
Oh happy architorture
This was posted yesterday, but so many FEELS.
Jubilee Project does amazing work, Jeremy Lin too. The three videos he has done with Jubilee Project are fantastic. Check out all of their videos~
I was looking at the list of firms my school is willing to send us to and then I saw #60… Sorry anyone who works at McDonalds, I don’t want to work there as an architecture intern, I think I would rather work at Autodesk, Inc. Maybe I will become friends with maya.
"Just because I don’t say anything doesn’t mean I don’t feel anything."
This is like another watercolor I did… I painted it right after I said I would do it later.
Oh, I am not a super…vocal person, I just have a lot of opinions… strong opinions.
I didn’t know what I was drawing, I was just emotion drawing. I will paint it eventually.
But note: just because someone doesn’t say anything doesn’t mean it isn’t annoying to them. And just because you can doesn’t mean you should.
This seemed like a good idea when I started, but I really just need to get paint on paper. At some point I will do a portrait. When I am either not dying or in a deep rut.
