This was posted yesterday, but so many FEELS.
Jubilee Project does amazing work, Jeremy Lin too. The three videos he has done with Jubilee Project are fantastic. Check out all of their videos~
I was looking at the list of firms my school is willing to send us to and then I saw #60… Sorry anyone who works at McDonalds, I don’t want to work there as an architecture intern, I think I would rather work at Autodesk, Inc. Maybe I will become friends with maya.
"Just because I don’t say anything doesn’t mean I don’t feel anything."
This is like another watercolor I did… I painted it right after I said I would do it later.
Oh, I am not a super…vocal person, I just have a lot of opinions… strong opinions.
I didn’t know what I was drawing, I was just emotion drawing. I will paint it eventually.
But note: just because someone doesn’t say anything doesn’t mean it isn’t annoying to them. And just because you can doesn’t mean you should.
This seemed like a good idea when I started, but I really just need to get paint on paper. At some point I will do a portrait. When I am either not dying or in a deep rut.
Dear goodness, 2 week hiatus. Sorry. I sort of died last week to the point where I couldn’t cook my own meals for a week and didn’t sleep much. So much architorture. Anyways, I have the habit of misunderstanding often. so here are 2 rendering I did last night/this morning… this morning. Someday I will post art. When I have time. Other than that, if you live in LA, my street band friends from Japan are playing in at Venice Beach and leave the 20th? They are really good. I am going to go pass out in a corner. Good Night all
I am not dead but close enough. sketches from my lecture notebooks and a pie I made this weekend. although the existence of it is only known to everyone on the internet that stumbles upon this, an architecture friend and my aunt. So, I will be very fat from chocolate soon. Other than that, I despise Maya just a tad.
Crappy day means watercolor break. I drew the head too big though and the skin tone is too dark ^o^ it has been a while since I have actually painted skin. and by that I mean it has been about 4 years. But painting the night sky is my remedy for a bad day~ And listening to 2BiC’s cover of Let it Go. Their voices are kind of fantastic.
Sorry for the slightly dark picture. This painting is hanging in the corner farthest from any window or light in my room.I am not quite done , but my hour limit was up.
Food for thought, sometimes life throws you in a dark corner. What you choose to do with it depends on you. You can leave it be or paint stars to keep you company.
And a quote:
"Don’t be afraid of the shadows, because not far from you is the light."
I was taking a random quiz and this was the last question and probably the most difficult one… why? Happy Sunday
recent art~ so the first one is my semester long project, still very much in the works, but that is basically my progress for the past 3 weeks.I kind of explained why I am doing this, but for the most part it is to paint away stress and to take a break from classes… I mainline live off of coffee now if that means anything…
Last 2 are… how I stay awake in class. The class itself is interesting (Grimm fairytales), but drawing the stories seems like fun to me. So far it has been Rapunzel and Hansel&Gretel. Tomorrow we start Snow White…
Because I can and because I realized I had to work on my portfolio again (such an abusive relationship), I am procrastinating and posting some of my old art from grade school. Apparently I really liked Arina Tanemura. I am not sure which ones came first. I know he one from shinshi doumei cross was the last of the 3 and I worked on the one with Izumi in 10th grade. And I found an oil from 12th grade..it was maybe a 3x3 canvas?
Funny fact about me. If I like a small detail in a picture I will draw the whole picture just so I can draw that small detail. Even if I have no interest in the picture as a whole. That happened with the shinshi doumei cross one. I liked the cross. Hence the reason why it is so much more detailed than the rest of the drawing…
I should go back to my portfolio, abusive butt. As if I wasn’t already living off of coffee Q.Q
surprisingly, my planbook can hold water. Elsa is fantastic, I love her. And Jack Frost from “Rise of the Guardians” is my favorite male character. I see a similarity =3=
My college posted for a half snowday and I was already at the college building, so productivity kicked in and I doodled in my planbook =3=
